Non-governmental Organizations (NGO)

According to the U.S. Department of State, there are around 1.5 million NGOs in the United States alone. These civil societies operate in a number of roles, both partisan and nonpartisan, and depend on email for operational and stakeholder communication.

As nonprofit organizations, NGOs manage massive volumes of data and receive and disburse substantial funds. Criminals view these assets as a treasure trove and continuously attempt to gain access to NGO IT networks to install ransomware, embezzle credentials, and misdirect donations. As with any other organization, NGOs need not only to protect their brand integrity, their staff, and their IT systems from email attacks, but also the people they serve.
