As part of our ongoing series, we are highlighting the diverse people who make up dmarcian. At our core, we are people helping people, and that spirit shapes the way we work with each other and with the organizations we serve. Our team brings together a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, all united by a shared commitment to make email safer for everyone. In this piece, a story from our Operations Coordinator sheds light on how decision process speaks volumes.

Stacey Minter: Operations Coordinator

Seven years ago, I encountered a concept that put a name to one of my core philosophies: “doing with” rather than “doing for.”

I was participating in a group discussion on the less-than-stellar results of a charitable one-for-one donation program. On the surface, the idea was sound: purchase one item and we’ll donate one in kind. When it came time to do an impact study within the community, the organizers were disappointed to find that their gifted goods were strewn about unused. While the organization sunk significant time and money into developing the program, the would-be beneficiaries had no need for them.

Well, how’d they get that far? No one asked.

This philosophy stuck with me and still shapes how I look at organizational design. At dmarcian, we reject the traditional, top-down model of “doing for.” Instead, we believe that a deeply collaborative, communal approach to decision-making is a strength that elevates us; it’s a superpower.

Business Structured for Communal Decisions

dmarcian operates as three companies, but collaborates as one. Because we’re committed to radical transparency, there are no information silos. All financial statistics are shared internally through Open Books Management, allowing dmarcians to see how the company is performing, contextualize results against global economic trends, and understand exactly where we stand.

This transparency does more than just share numbers; it makes everyone feel like an owner. Decisions aren’t handed down from a disconnected managerial suite. Instead, they’re made by the people doing the work, using data to guide the way. We set communal goals together, aligning priorities with business objectives.

The result? Higher engagement, more confidence, and a shared sense of purpose. As the State of the Global Workplace 2026 Report recently noted, when employees feel they have a choice in what they do and see how their work improves others’ lives, engagement and wellbeing skyrocket.

Promoting Diverse Opinions and Inviting Perspective

dmarcian operates with a “no silly questions” attitude, inviting all kinds of perspectives. The result is a workplace built on mutual respect, where freedom to ask questions leads to freedom to innovate.

We know that good ideas often come from unexpected places; we also know they can use a bit of encouragement. To start, dmarcians establish an understanding of the technology through completion of our free DMARC Academy. We also ensure that everyone at dmarcian has access to departmental meetings. Insights, pain points, initiatives—we share it all. This common foundation allows us to hear perspectives from all sides of the organization, all over the world.

While establishing this baseline is already a recipe for collaboration, dmarcian doesn’t stop there. Through skill-shares, event readouts, and deep-learning sessions with our subject matter experts, we grow the knowledge of the whole organization. This encourages curiosity, spikes employee engagement, and fosters relationships—no small feat for a globally distributed remote team.

More Than a Vendor: A Resource

These philosophies don’t stay within dmarcian. We want to empower users to make their own data-driven decisions with DMARC. While our platform is packed to the brim with guidance built on best practices, we champion a “hands off your DNS” policy because we know: no one knows your needs like you do. Instead, we do with.

We know it can be daunting. Sifting through years of organizational history to determine legitimate sending services all while learning a new technology? It can be a lot. There are no silly questions when it comes to DMARC, either. From free educational resources to on-demand technical support and intensive DMARC Services, we aim to meet users wherever they are in their DMARC journey.

Whether you’re a current customer, a partner, or just someone interested in the future of email security, we’d love to connect. Tell us what matters to you, what questions you have, and how we can help you build a safer, more transparent digital world.
