Billing Coordinator

As our BIlling Coordinator, your focus will be on helping us spread the word about DMARC by providing assistance with billing/invoicing across all departments, monitoring financial transactions and reports,  and keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.

  • Experienced. A strong preference will be given to those with experience in cybersecurity or SaaS. We’re looking for folks who have worked with the following:
    • 1-3 years of experience working with billing/invoicing is preferred.
    • International transaction experience is highly preferred
    • Previous report generation or financial background
    • Technical customer service experience
    • Technical systems exposure
    • Prove to be intrinsically motivated and organized
    • Maintain a high standard of ethics, including familiarity with PII ethics through GDPR and/or HIPAA
    • Work comfortably within multiple computer programs including, but not limited to, Help Scout, Xero, QuickBooks, Pipedrive, Chargebee, Panda Docs, Google Suite, 3rd party invoicing sites, Slack, etc.

The Responsibilities

  • Handle multiple time-sensitive tasks coming from Business Unit Directors, New Business Teams, Controller, Operations, Account Managers, and customers
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy and client invoicing procedures, ensure CRM information is complete and accurate, QA automated invoices for accuracy
  • Complete vendor forms to establish and manage payment portals for clients
  • Oversee the Billing queue and prioritize work in a professional manner
  • Routinely communicate summaries of billing concerns that arise to leadership to improve operational procedures.
  • Field Billing related questions 
  • Participate in workflow improvements and integrate new features into process
  • Monitoring financial systems, transactions, and reports.
  • Processing accounts receivable and payable.
  • Understanding ledgers.
  • Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
  • Presenting data to the organization
  • Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
  • Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Collaborating with customers, third party institutions and other team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors
  • Inputting payment history, upcoming payment information or other financial data into an individual account
  • Informing customers of any missed or upcoming payment deadlines

Development Operations Engineer (US & IE)

Our mission is to spread DMARC everywhere. We offer superior tooling, educational resources, and expert support—but at our core, we’re people helping other people understand and protect a vital asset, their email domains. Staying focused on our mission means we’re constantly improving by learning from the challenges that everyone faces while deploying DMARC.

 

We are growing our Development Operations team and seeking individuals with Linux systems administration experience at the core, biased towards security, networking, and provisioning automation to join our team.

Responsibilities 

  • Managing daily system operations of GCP and our platform
  • Troubleshooting system and network issues
  • Helping Product Development with systems-based architectural decisions
  • Implementing and documenting methodologies for maintaining our infrastructure as we grow, both refining existing mechanisms and developing new processes
  • Monitor and capture metrics for system operations
  • Monitor systems for security events
  • Extending current, and creating new automation to accomplish all of the above
  • Work closely with our Development team to design and implement new infrastructure needs to support future initiatives

 

Who We’re Looking For

 

  • A strong Linux/Unix background, with a good understanding of Linux configuration mechanisms (We primarily use Ubuntu)
  • Experience developing large automation efforts with standard Linux tools
  • Experience with automation tooling such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef (strong preference for Ansible)
  • Previous professional experience in Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with (or willing to learn) Infrastructure as Code (We use Terraform)
  • A good understanding of the end-to-end Mail Transport process and protocols (We use Postfix)
  • A good understanding of the TCP/IP stack, basic routing and firewalling concepts, and how to troubleshoot networking issues
  • Database management, monitoring and support experience (strong preference for PostgreSQL experience).
  • Previous professional experience with an enterprise monitoring system (strong preference for Zabbix experience)
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • A passion for computer, network, and application security

 

Role Objectives

 

  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize infrastructure to ensure high availability and minimal downtime for applications and services
  • Ensure all systems and software is ‘in support’ from a versioning standpoint
  • Adopt security and best practice measures designed to protect the health of the platform and customer data.

  • This is a full-time position
  • Core hours for this position are 10am-2pm ET during the week.
  • Development Operations technician needs to be able to respond outside of business hours for system maintenance, outages and emergencies (this, too, is minimal)

New Business Coordinator (EMEA)

As a New Business Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting new business opportunities, facilitating ongoing renewals, and conducting essential market research. You will engage and educate a diverse range of customers, helping them understand the value of DMARC. Working closely with a small team based in the EMEA region, you’ll contribute to growing DMARC adoption through a focus on country-specific development and advocacy. This is an exciting opportunity to join dmarcian as we grow our team in Ireland. Please be prepared for a guided 90-day onboarding process, where you will be supported and fostered to learn your new role.

Software Developer (US & IE)

Our mission is to make email better by spreading DMARC everywhere, but at our core, we’re people helping people.

The Product and Development teams are driven to create an inviting, inclusive user experience while maintaining and improving our free public tools and robust DMARC Management Platform. The technology we help customers implement is highly technical, but interactions with our tooling and platform should be informative and enjoyable.Our team uses Slack to communicate as well as Google Workspace to organize and communicate our work. The Development Team uses Unix-based machines, typically Macs, for development work.

As the Software Developer, you’ll primarily be in a support role in application maintenance and feature implementation. Along with our lead engineers, you’ll respond to spontaneous support requests and fulfill bug fixes.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experienced. You have five or more years of building enterprise applications. We have a strong preference for folks with experience in cybersecurity, the email ecosystem, and DNS and domain management.
    • Platforms: Google Cloud Platform, UNIX-based systems, Gitlab CI/CD
    • Languages: Python, SQL
    • Frameworks: Django, Django REST
    • Databases: PostgreSQL
    • Demonstrable experience developing backend REST API services
    • Experience with Agile and/or scrum
    • Exposure/familiarity with Slack, Google Workspace, and Unix-based machines (typically Macs)

  • Work directly with stakeholders to design robust systems supporting day-to-day business needs.
  • Create a robust test suite for existing and future business logic. 
  • Create and integrate third-party/SaaS APIs into business systems.
  • Conversion of synchronous web utilities to asynchronous and stateful services. 
  • Participate in code reviews and other engineering initiatives and deliverables.
  • Be able to clearly articulate technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose solutions to people who are not part of the Development Team.
  • Participate in the Development, Operations, and Product Circles to continuously improve products and best practices.
